What's next?


Well, what can I say?

This is not even by a stretch of the imagination a finished game. I just did a play-through and the game crashes after four levels. How do you enter the map editor? Start the game? Pause and unpause the game? 

These are all riddles without answers. Truthfully, however, the keyboard P is good for pauses in the game. To enter the map editor, press M when on the Setup screen (Where you select players etc). To get to the setup screen press space on the splash screen. 

Anyways, it isn't done and when testing I found all of the bugs listed below. They are what I will fix now.

  1.  Lights on walls - walls don't stop lights, basically
  2. Better shadows - not really a bug, mate, more like wishful thinking
  3. Walk cycle has one extra frame
  4. Rate of Fire on shotgun is too fast - sometimes?
  5. Hacking sequence needs to be randomized and levelized
  6. Pause dialogs need button legend for currently available controllers
  7. Typing label / crawl is shit. I want a crawl in that dialog between levels
  8. After crawl is done, start level instead of waiting in paused state
  9. Zombies do not notice anything when player enters their vicinity sensor
  10. Changing levels more than once completely screws up enemies etc, they are outside the map
  11. Scaling bug on sprites
  12. Autoreload - pushing reload is not viable when out of ammo
  13. Reload bug - sometimes it reloads more than mag capacity, I am guessing its an error of a bad if-statement
  14. Game crashed after five levels, could be a problem with that particular map file
